HARVICK INC. ANNOUNCES SPONSOR OF NO. 2 CHEVROLET SILVERADO
American Commercial Lines announces primary sponsorship of No. 2
KHI Chevrolet Silverado in 2008; Georgia Boot signs on as
associate sponsor
KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (January 10, 2008)
- Kevin
Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today a new partners hip
with American Commercial Lines (ACL), a leader in the marine
transportation and manufacturing business. ACL will join KHI as
primary sponsor of three-time Truck Series champion Jack
Sprague’s No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado for the 2008 NASCAR Truck
Series season.
“We are
extremely excited about having ACL join KHI,” said Kevin
Harvick, KHI co-owner. “After such a successful year in the
Truck Series in 2007, we see the addition of Jack Sprague and
ACL as a winning combination.”
ACL will
begin their sponsorship of the No. 2 Chevrolet with the season
opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. This will be
the first of 15 races ACL will sponsor throughout the 2008
season. An additional partner announcement for the remaining 10
Truck Series races will come at a later date.

bring greater visibility to ACL, improving our reach to
prospective employees while offering exciting and unique

Georgia
Boot, the Official Boot Supplier of KHI, will come on board the
No. 2 Chevrolet as an associate sponsor.

Veteran Crew
Chief Ernie Cope will be at the helm of the No. 2 Chevrolet for
2008. Cope brings years of experience to KHI, having worked
with such drivers as Ken Schrader, Jon Wood and Stacy Compton.
