Teams
Since its inception at the beginning of the 2007 season, the Kevin Harvick Inc. No. 2 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) team has primarily competed on a part-time schedule with various drivers behind the wheel. In 2007, the No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado was piloted in 16 NCWTS events by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer, along with KHI NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Cale Gale and Daniel Pope. In 2008, the No. 2 team competed full-time with drivers Jack Sprague, Ryan Newman, Gale and Harvick. Newman recorded the first win for the No. 2 team on October 25, 2008 by winning the E-Z-GO 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Two weeks later, Harvick took the No. 2 to victory lane at Phoenix International Raceway after winning the Lucas Oil 150.
In 2010, the Kevin Harvick Inc. No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado team will once again take to the track with KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick and fellow Sprint Cup star Elliott Sadler behind the wheel. Harvick hopes to pad his Truck Series win tally, as Sadler looks for Truck Series redemption as he begins his quest to visit Truck Series victory lane for the first time in his career.
